STRANGE FISHES IN CLEAR BLUE WATERS

While traveling through Japan I did many day-trips around the major cities. I found out that it's quite simple to move like that - stay in the same hostel for a few nights and during the day, use the infinite train and bus connections to jump between towns. Wakayama was one of those places. About 1 hour and half south from Osaka, this modest coastal city is probably not accustomed to foreigner tourists. The castle and its green surroundings, just next to the Zoo, are the main attraction point and actually quite peaceful for an afternoon visit. A bit further into the Wakaura Bay and its marina, a short travel by bus, you can already uncover some beach areas where no one is around. There I found some of the weirdest fishes ever - instead of clear blue waters, they preferred to bath in the sun outside.
